On 3 March, the Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden offers a variety of activities for visitors on the occasion of World Wildlife Day. During the day, you will be able to enjoy presentations, demonstrations, playful exercises and craft activities on the threats to wildlife. In addition to families, classes and pre-school groups are all welcome with age-appropriate activities and surprises.
Students and children under 18 years of age can enter the Wildlife Day activities with a registration ticket for 200 Ft, provided they come with an animal or plant mask, or a plush or figurine of an animal or plant.
Stations open at 10.00 and run until 16.00.
The program organized on the occasion of World Wildlife Day focuses on cooperation and partnerships. It aims to highlight close cooperation between organisations that have joined forces and are working to protect wildlife around the world. Hence this year’s slogan: “Partnership for wildlife conservation”.
