First Aid Kit is made of two sisters – Klara and Johanna – and while they´ve been known for a while, this is their first time touring Sweden – with their first stop being the glorious Avicii Arena in Stockholm. Let´s give them a warm welcome.

For over a decade, the sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg of First Aid Kit have been enchanting listeners around the world. With over a billion streams, shelves of awards and multiple tours behind them, the next chapter awaits the now iconic duo. The album “Palomino” will be released on 4 November and the band will go on an extensive tour in conjunction with it. There is no doubt that First Aid Kit belongs on the biggest of stages and in March 2023 the band will play three arena shows on Swedish soil: 1 March at Scandinavium in Gothenburg, 3 March at Malmö Arena and 4 March at Avicii Arena in Stockholm.

And it is this particular magic that has taken the sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg from their home in Svedmyra to listeners all over the world. Today, First Aid Kit has over a billion streams, shelves of awards and collaborations with everyone from Conor Oberst to Zara Larsson and Jack White under its belt. Yet most things are still as they once were. Klara and Johanna still weave the purest dreams of gold with their incredible vocal symbiosis and their deep love of music still seems, despite thousands of miles on the tour bus, more like falling in love than marriage. The now iconic second album "The Lion's Roar", which features songs like "Emmylou", and not least the title track, was released in 2012 and received with open arms by listeners and critics worldwide - not least in the US whose audiences can be sceptical of foreign artists interpreting their musical traditions. "Stay Gold," with songs like "My Silver Lining" and "Master Pretender," came in 2014, and four years later the mournfully heartbroken album "Ruins" was released. Earlier this year, the sisters shared "Out of My Head" and "Angel," two stunning songs in which their masterful indie folk is injected with vibrant pop hooks. Something that makes you long even more for their upcoming album "Palomino". There is no doubt that First Aid Kit belongs on the biggest of stages.
