Acid Arab

It´s an honor to welcome Acid Arab on their first visit to Stockholm. This band has been on the music scene in France for a while now and this time they´re coming to Stockholm and they´re bringing all of their delightful music with them – a melodic combination of Arabic tunes and modern electronic music.

With new music in the back Acid Arab comes to Stockholm with his heavy live show. Backed by Nima Khak and Miss E & Jan Vall, they’ll have a great club night at Slaktkyrkan on 18 March.

Ten years ago, in transcultural Paris, the French-Algerian collective Acid Arab emerged, made up of Guido Minisky, Hervé Carvalho, Pierrot Casanova, Nicolas Borne and Kenzi Bourras. Their concept is to create a space for Arab culture within the world of modern electronic music. Acid Arab does this by collaborating with different artists and constantly discovering new aspects of Middle Eastern culture, which they then transfer to their electronic sound. You have to hear it to understand!

Since the release of their debut album “Musique de France” in 2016, Acid Arab has toured the world. They were nominated for the French Victoire de la Musique and Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Awards – while their album climbed the charts. 2019 saw the release of the album “Jdid”, which includes the hit “Electrique Yarghol”. Now they are current with their third album.
