Vienna is different, and so was the 2022 carnival. It was colourful, it was rousing, it was phenomenal. In 2023 we’ll make it even more colourful. We’re going to party. We party. We give it our all. We dress up and let our masks down. Look forward to the next edition of the WIENER FASCHING.
The Viennese FASCHING (carnival) is a spectacularly constructed and staged world full of surprises. Master of Ceremony is cabaret artist Max Mayerhofer, alias “MC MAX”. Tricky Niki, Walter Kammerhofer, Ludwig Müller, Hans Wernele and many more will strain your laughing muscles. Wolfgang Moser, the reigning vice world champion in magic, will provide magical moments. Artist Tobi van Deisner impresses audiences all over the world with his balloon acts. The Ridin Dudes will act as the ceremony band, and at the after-show party DJ Zeus, baritone Nik Raspotnik as Peter Alexander and Falco, and travesty artist Sascha as Tina Turner, among others, will ensure an exuberant atmosphere.
The classic carnival procession will be dusted off, the “Jecken” retired and replaced by spectacular shows and lots of partying. Only one thing remains the same: the costumes. Anything goes – whether sexy, weird or completely crazy.
