Whisky Convention

On 5 and 6 April 2024, Vienna will finally become an international whisky hotspot! Numerous distilleries, brand managers, retailers and independent bottlers will present top brands and varieties from all over the world as well as newcomers who are still waiting to be discovered.

Vienna Whisky Convention is all about the good drop in a glass and more. Whisky is history, culture, flavour, craft and tradition. And all of this can be experienced on the impressive barley floor of the Ottakringer brewery. And it’s not about worshipping the ashes, but about passing on the fire. In other words, tradition meets modernity here and experienced whisky aficionados get their money’s worth just as much as newcomers.

A good whisky in a glass, a stylish ambience, a hint of longing and the thought of lush greenery in the light mist. If you’re not exploring Loch Ness in a rowing boat, you’ve probably ended up at the Vienna Whisky Convention in the Ottakringer Brewery. Here, the world’s best whisky producers present themselves to interested palates and invite them to enjoy malty, peaty and smoky explosions of flavour.
