The Budapest Zoo and Botanical Garden awaits its visitors with exciting carnival programs on 4 and 5 February. The two-day event will include sight-feeding and seal fun, face painting, dance house, interactive and craft activities. What’s more, the organisers are also preparing a carnival parade with music and costumes, and the Schäftner carousel will be available as well.
There will be sight-feeding, seal fun, face painting, a dance party with the Csürrentő Band, Bóbita Band Animals’ carnival interactive activity, craft activities and much more.
Both days will feature the Schäftner carousel, photo opportunities with costumes, medical students for children to learn about our Teddy Bear Hospital and an animal forensics session on the Magic Mountain.
At 13:00, a musical carnival parade will start from the Main Gate Square.
The Zoo also offers special discounts on both days of Carnival. Children under the age of 14 can participate in the Zoo Carnival for HUF 200 if they come in costume.
The first weekend of February is a great time for the whole family!
Tickets are available at our ticket offices on the day of the event. Zoo tickets and passes can also be used for the program. Entrance is through the Main Entrance and the Holnemvolt Castle Gate.
