What a day to enjoy a spectacle which is Katatonia, one of the most well-known Swedish metal bands. This time they´re accompanied by Sólstafir, an Icelandic band that´s making their mark on the metal world.

Swedish metal band Katatonia will be touring with Icelandic band Sólstafir in early 2022, reaching Sweden for an exclusive show.
Katatonia is one of Swedish metal’s most established bands. Their melancholic and dark music moves the country between doom and alternative metal. The latest album “City Burials” was released in spring 2020 and entered the Swedish album chart at number twelve.
The Reykjavik band Sólstafir was formed in 1995 and started their career as a black metal band. Over the years, the band has gained more elements of atmospheric music, they have developed their own form of post-metal that has given them a natural place within the genre. Throughout the years, Aðalbjörn “Addi” Tryggvason has been at the centre of the band.
