Kasha Sound Library

The Old Town Library has prepared a series of three events based on experimental sound performances. Three ambient and experimental projects will be presented under the title The Sound of the Library, which deliberately paraphrases the well-known hip-hop Sound of the Street.

KASHA

Kasha Potrohosh is an artist originally from Ukraine, active in Bratislava. She is currently a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in the Department of Intermedia, so she focuses her artistic activity on intermedia projects. She has a wide range of realized solo activities and projects, but also as a participant of the performative group MAPSN. Her themes are intertwined with the subjective experience of death, self-therapy and subjective reflections on social issues. She often uses textiles as a medium in her work, which she uses as a masking element.

Kasha’s acts take you into an exciting and surreal world of psychedelic experimental improvised noise and ambient, where you don’t know what awaits you in the next second. Intuition, improvisation, exploration and surprise are the main hallmarks of her musical performances!
