The exclusive ballet gala evening is a continuation of a long-standing tradition, which was initiated by the National Cancer Institute in Bratislava. The main idea of the event is to educate and support the fight against oncological diseases. Based on the philosophy that art heals, the first ballet stage brings a unique, style-rich programme, in which the leading soloists of the Slovak National Theatre Ballet and performers of leading European companies participate.
Ballet stars from Vienna, Berlin, Madrid, London and neighbouring theatres in Brno and Košice have accepted the invitation to this year’s gala.
