Entertainment for children, a concert for the young, more serious music for the elderly, but also goodies, crafts and sports for all. The Bratislava-Dúbravka Municipal District is preparing a feast weekend, a family programme for all generations. According to tradition, this year it fell on the September weekend – 23rd to 25th September.
The musical and accompanying programme will be varied. It will traditionally take place in two places, a more intimate one in the old Dúbravka in Žatevná near the fire station, and the big names will perform on the big stage in the meadow near the Dúbravka House of Culture.
The feast has a tradition in Dúbravka connected with viticulture and good food. They began to write their modern history after the revolution in 1989. Every year the Dúbravka district commemorates the consecration of the Dúbravka parish church, i.e. the Church of St. Cosmas and Damian, with the Dúbravka feast.
