Music Therapy

We all have been hearing about the beneficial effects of music on health for a long time, perhaps we have even noticed its signs on ourselves. So it is not surprising that the House of Hungarian Music also finds it important, as it organizes music therapy, which we recommend to both adults and children. During the two-hour session, you can relax in the world of sounds and express yourselves through various group games.

Library of the House of Hungarian Music: August 13, Saturday between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Join us for this music therapy session for all ages in the library of the House of Hungarian Music.

In addition to the aesthetic value of music, it is also a non-verbal tool that stimulates creativity and helps self-expression. The various forms of group music therapy (active, receptive, integrative) used at the House of Hungarian Music help to relieve anxiety caused by trauma, express emotions, socialize and adapt to a new environment. Group music therapy games do not require skill or experience as there is no right or wrong way to express yourself through sound.

Speakers: dr:
Reykort Ildikó, music therapist, and Valeriya Dankovych, pianist and music teacher, conduct music therapy sessions for all ages in Ukrainian and Hungarian.

Place: House of Hungarian Music
Date: August 13
