Did you know that 9 July is the day when Charles bridge celabrates the laying of the foundation stone? This year, it is going to celebrate its 665th anniversary.
Do not miss this opportunity and come to celebrate it as well! It will start with a parade of Charles IV across Charles Bridge. A medieval retinue of knights on horseback accompanying Emperor Charles IV. Moreover, it will be accompanied by numerous choirs of period musicians and dancers.
Charles Bridge will be presented by Prague history researchers starting early in the morning from the standpoint of the era’s realities, and artists will emphasise the ambiance with period performances.
The museum will be open free of charge to visitors on this day from five to ten in the morning.
