Saturday June 25 will be White Night in Fiumicino. More than 100 events under the banner of the colours of peace are scheduled.

Some of the events to be highlighted include Via Torre Clementina, Piazza Grassi, Via del Serbatoio, Darsena, and Via Giorgio Giorgis: From 8.00 pm there will be itinerant concerts by the bands of the Pro Loco of Fiumicino and Ostia, performances and live music, popular and Latin American dances, theatre and readings dedicated to Alda Merini, poetry, DJ sets in the street and also on the bus, a party in the square with the shopkeepers of Via del Serbatoio, the exhibition ‘100 years since Pasolini’s birth’, a book space with local authors, handicrafts, street food with the Pro Loco, stands with typical products and local gastronomy, games for children and an electric train. At the dock, an exhibition on the battle of the Alitalia workers and the projection of the docufilm ‘Noi siamo Alitalia – Storia di un Paese che non sa più volare’ (‘We are Alitalia – History of a country that can no longer fly’) – an exhibition on Alitalia, sponsored by the airport municipality itself. The Lungomare della Salute will be all about sport, with dozens of disciplines, sports arenas on the beach, and will host 30 Ferraris for the Red Tour. There will be 10 light towers, dozens of volunteers will be on hand to guard the access areas and events, and three rescue points (Lungomare della Salute – height Via delle Meduse; Viale di Traiano – height Passerella; Via degli Orti – corner Via delle Ombrine); two tankers with drinking water and three free shuttles every 15 minutes from the interchange car parks to the White Night events.

– Simone Costa Park: party in the square with the shopkeepers from Via del Serbatoio
– Piazza Grassi: exhibition “100 years since Pasolini’s birth”.

Orange Area
Via di Torre Clementina (from the footbridge to Via del Canale)

Yellow Area
Via di Torre Clementina (from Via del Canale to the pier)

– “Non è la Sagra” – fried food organised by the Pro Loco di Fiumicino
– Music

Green area
Viale Traiano (from the walkway to the Lungomare della Salute)

– Show point (height of pizzeria “Il Campione”)
– Darsena: a message for peace and against all wars (bus terminal height)
– Dockyard – work space: projection of the docufilm “Noi siamo Alitalia – Storia di un Paese che non sa più volare” (“We are Alitalia – History of a country that can no longer fly”) – exhibition on Alitalia, speeches from the stage (height of Unicredit)
– Darsena – “il Comune in piazza”: area dedicated to the Municipality’s projects and works
– Darsena – Inflatable and merry-go-round area for children
– Viale Traiano corner of Via Giorgio Giorgis – Spazio Adr and Guardia di Finanza area with dog unit demonstration.
– Music points as far as the Promenade
