Free yoga is back at Villa Pamphilj. From June 11, in fact, ViVi, the Lifestyle & Food brand founded by Daniela Gazzini and Cristina Cattaneo, has announced the start of a new wellness season in one of Rome’s most beautiful villas.
From Tuesday to Sunday, until 11 September, ViVi – Villa Pamphili will offer free yoga lessons for enthusiasts and neophytes. In addition, every Wednesday from 6.00pm to 7.00pm, there will be Children’s Yoga by YogAyur.
The ‘Sun Salutation’ consists of a dynamic sequence of 12 positions, to be performed in a fluid movement, combined with breathing. This yoga practice has numerous benefits: it is very effective for stretching and toning the body’s muscles, helps correct incorrect postures, develops concentration, coordination and balance, calms the mind and regulates sleep. Next to Villa Pamphili’s bistro, the lessons will be a pleasant way to do sport and breathe clean air in the tranquillity of the park, which with its large spaces also guarantees a safe distance between people.
To participate, you must bring your own mat and register for the VIVI Green Card on the VIVI website. After the practice, you can enjoy a cheerful aperitif or a healthy, light dinner, with the gentle colours of the sunset and the deep green of the park all around, admiring a magnificent view of the city.
