The 40th Donauinselfest promises to be a festival of superlatives.
From June 23 to 25, 2023, Vienna’s Danube Island will be transformed into Austria’s most colorful and most diverse stage in Austria.
The first festival highlights will be presented in early 2023.
In 2022, 11 stages and 14 islands provided 600 hours of programming for domestic and international, young and older audiences.
Prepare to have fun, listen to the music of various genres, discover new artists. Musical numbers, cabaret performances, pop-ups and activities for children, all of this is being prepared for you as of right now….

More colorful, more diverse, more interactive and more inclusive will be the 40th Danube Island Festival, which will take place again in 2023 as usual on the last weekend of June. Just in time for the start of summer, the Danube Island will become a venue for 3 days with international and national stars for music, culture, sports and enjoyment – for all generations with free admission.
