Klub Kabeza visits Tropical Bar on the waterfront in Hammarby Sjöstad and Gil Felix offers us a languorous bossanova, both his own compositions and beloved classics, in Stockholm’s white midsummer night where the sun almost doesn’t set.

Gil Felix is a Brazilian artist with a 25-year international career, a wide and eclectic repertoire with both original compositions and big hits. With influences from Gilberto Gil, Bob Marley, Luis Gonzaga and Fela Kuti, Gil Felix’s performances bring together the regional Recôncavo culture and African musicality.

Gil Felix has released 6 albums and 4 singles that represent his full musical range and creativity.

In 2021 Gil Felix released the album Enfim which represents a new step musically with delicious jazz influences in Gil’s samba reggae, afropop and bossanova. The album is an international production with musicians from three continents and recorded in Stockholm, Sweden and Salvador de Bahía, Brazil with the well-known producer Nestor Madrid as co-producer.
