Gorillaz threw quite a party at the Hovet in 2017. Their first ever live show in Sweden resulted in a sold-out euphoria. Now the time has come again. On 4 August, the virtual anti-heroes and superstars take over Skansen. Welcome to one of the most fun nights of the summer!

The virtual band Gorillaz consists of singer 2D, bassist Murdoc Niccals, guitarist Noodle and drummer Russel Hobbs. Since the band’s inception by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, they’ve been joined by everyone from underground rappers to some of world music’s greatest plus legends like Robert Smith and Elton John.

Since the unveiling of their self-titled debut in 2001, Gorillaz have won a Grammy and several BRIT Awards, toured the world and been named the most successful virtual band on the planet by The Guinness Book Of World Records. But above all, they have continually pushed the boundaries of popular music.
