Theater im Park Vienna

This summer, the former royal garden of Palais Schwarzenberg will be open for entertainment for everyone. The summer event “Theatre in the Park” takes place until 18 September. It’s finally time to get out the best outfit – suit and dress – you still have in your wardrobe. A good dose of culture, music and cabaret is served to all those who like to chill out and have fun.

On 1 July 2020, THEATER IM PARK opened its very first season. From that day onwards, high-quality open-air entertainment was offered in the gardens along Prinz Eugen-Straße. After four theatre series, we have already welcomed over 500,000 visitors to more than 500 performances. We would like to thank the audience and the many artists, almost all of whom will once again enrich our programme across all artistic disciplines in the new 2024 season – in addition to many prominent newcomers.

In our 2024 season, our programme will once again feature stars from cabaret, comedy, classical music, jazz, Viennese songs, musicals, literature, philosophy and the continuation of our own production “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. If you can’t make up your mind, THEATER IM PARK vouchers are a good idea, and not just for Christmas – for joyful gift-giving and anticipation for the recipient. The programme will be continuously expanded over the coming weeks and months: you will always find the latest version here on our website.
