What will cities look like in the future? Will they have at least as much green space as they do now? This is one of the fundamental questions that the Festival del verde is asking. A festival that returns for the eleventh time to the terrace of the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
This is the first Italian festival of urban greenery (and landscape), because living in a metropolis does not mean living far from Nature. Were not gardens the original nucleus of the urban fabric? And plants the reason for our “civilisation”? Competitions, temporary gardens, botanical nurseries, design, architecture, conferences and workshops, explore the relationship between Man, Nature and the City and suggest a different interpretation of Green not as a luxury but as a primary need, not as a simple hobby but as a lifestyle and a design tool essential for our present and future lives. For children there will be fun workshops and shows of various kinds.
