Cigarettes After Sex


The American music group Cigarettes After Sex will come to Rome. After a postponed concert last year, they will perform on June 28, 2022 at the Ippodromo delle Capannelle. They will be part of the Rock in Roma 2022 festival.

Cigarettes After Sex was founded in El Paso, Texas, in 2008, by Greg Gonzalez. The current lineup of the band features Greg Gonzalez (lead vocals, electric guitar, acoustic guitar), Randall Miller (bass), Jacob Tomsky (drums), and Josh Marcus (keyboards). Dedicated to the genres of dream pop and slowcore.

The band’s debut EP, entitled I., was released in 2012. The EP included the song Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby, which eventually became a hit. After the release of the single Affection in 2015, Cigarettes After Sex released their self-titled debut studio album in June 2017.
