Imagine Dragons Tour Vienna

To celebrate the release of their latest album Mercury – Act 1, Imagine Dragons announce their Mercury World Tour. On Thursday, 23 June 2022, they will also make a stop at Vienna’s Ernst Happel Stadium as part of their tour.

Special Guests:

With 46 million albums and 55 million songs sold worldwide as well as 74 billion streams, Imagine Dragons are one of the most successful rock bands and completely reinvented the genre with their enormous breakthrough in the 2010s: with their hits “Believer”, “Thunder” and “Radioactive”, Imagine Dragons now fill stadiums worldwide!

Formed in 2009, Imagine Dragons developed their very own sound with a series of released EPs. Night Visions, their 2012 full-length debut, entered the Billboard 200 at #2 and the hit “Radioactive” topped the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart, winning a GRAMMY for Best Rock Performance and achieving RIAA Diamond status. In 2017, the album EVOLVE followed and received a GRAMMY nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album! On it: their hits “Believer”, as well as the GRAMMY-nominated tracks “Thunder” and “Whatever It Takes”. The band’s fourth album, ORIGINS, made it to the top of Billboard’s Alternative Albums and Top Rock Albums charts and the lead single “Natural” broke more records worldwide!

Their highly anticipated fifth studio album Mercury – Act 1 was released on 3 September 2021. In collaboration with respected producer Rick Rubin and with its title inspired by the word “mercurial”, Mercury – Act 1 is another masterpiece in the Imagine Dragons’ career. “Follow You” and “Cutthroat” were the first singles from the new album, and the album’s current single “Wrecked” explores the theme of grief and was written by singer Dan Reynolds after he lost his sister-in-law to cancer in 2019.
