Radio Trastevere Gallery opens to the public with a cycle of four pop up exhibitions: Fuori Catalogo. Radio Trastevere Gallery opens to the public with a cycle of four pop up exhibitions Fuori Catalogo. On Friday, March 25, 2022, at 6 pm, Radio Trastevere Gallery, the new space in Rome dedicated to contemporary art, opens with a series of four pop up exhibitions entitled “Fuori Catalogo. Wandering Pop Up Art Exhibition”.

Protagonists of the exhibition cycle will be the artists Maria Donata Papadia, Manuele Geromini, Sabrina Poli and Sant’Era who, through different artistic languages, will focus on the return to the values of dialogue and confrontation between human beings, elements that have always nourished body and soul.

The project, born from the creative mind of Barbara Braghittoni, has as its objective a research and reflection on themselves, without limiting itself to an immersion in art. Each of the artists will decline this theme according to a new language, made of signs and images, to remind the observer to live love, beauty and friendship with always renewed energy.

To open the series of exhibitions will be Melk, from March 25 to 31, 2022, the painter, set designer and designer Maria Donata Papadia, who lives and works in Amsterdam with a thirty-year career to her credit. The artist in Melk offers a selection of Flowers in tetrapak and Breasts, made of plaster with the technique of the cast.

Works that are offered as a means of carrying lifeblood, concealing an erotic and sensual feeling. The primary needs related to nutrition and care bring us back to the comparison with the elements of nature, such as flowers, inspired by the book “Flowers and their messages” (The Mother Sri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry).

The second exhibition, scheduled from April 22 to 28, 2022, entitled Polaroid, presents the shots of Manuele Geromini, fashion and portrait photographer who currently lives and works in France. In his rich professional career, he has collaborated with numerous world-famous magazines such as Vogue, Le Monde, Interview and GQ.

In Polaroid, through the famous instant camera, Geromini molds time as matter by fixing the moment in a union between consciousness and reality, inviting us to share. Unlike film, in fact, the Polaroid allows to immediately reveal the magic of the shot.

The third exhibition will take place from May 20 to 26, 2022, and will again feature the artist Maria Donata Papadia with Impronte. In this project Papadia focuses on human figures made starting from the imprint of the body of the models and then working with overlapping hand-colored tissue paper on gauze tarlatana. The imprints arise from the question: “What is the body?”. The perception of the body, not only as a guardian of the human essence, pushes us, thanks to the artist herself, to confront ourselves with the unresolved that is inherent in us and that everyone must learn to recognize in order to evolve.

Last stop on the journey of “Fuori Catalogo. Wandering Pop Up Art Exhibition” will be Santafrika, on display from June 17 to 23, 2022: a photographic project by Sant’Era, fashion and beauty expert who boasts among her collaborations those with John Santilli and Vidal Sasson. The photos, created by the art director and visual designer Sabrina Poli and printed on aluminum in large format, emphasize the contrasts between the north and south of the planet. In fact, the project, realized in Kenya, represents a journey that combines fashion, environment and models from the West and East Africa.
