Christmas Fair of Unique Things

Handicrafts, “local products” – those to eat and those to look at and remember for a long time, books – those written and those printed on the right bank of the Vistula, stained glass, clay angels, the most beautiful candles, natural jewellery. This is just a foretaste of what we will see, learn about and take with us from the right bank of the Vistula. The idea is simple – “what a rich man’s cottage”. To show Podgórze residents, Cracovians and the rest of the world what else Podgórze can be famous for, apart from its history, heritage, charming corners and beautiful views. In order to take part in the Fair as an exhibitor, you had to meet one basic and most important criterion. One must produce, manufacture, stick, bake, write, knit, sew – on the right bank of the Vistula – in Podgórze.

In the stalls set up at the foot of St. Joseph’s Church, you will be able to buy goods, souvenirs and delicacies made by local craftsmen. A festive atmosphere will be provided by various workshops and animations, as well as the opportunity to take a ride on a unique, over 100-year-old Victorian carousel. The fair will take place on 27 and 28 November, from 11.00 to 20.00.
