The Dalibor Havlíček Symphony Orchestra returns to Mělník after two years with a new concert of film music. This fresh orchestra of young enthusiastic musicians opens its 6th season this year and has prepared a brand new programme of the most famous film melodies.
This time the main role will be played by the genre of science fiction and fantasy. For example, you can look forward to music from the Star Wars film series, Jurassic Park or the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Fans of Harry Potter and Pirates of the Caribbean will also be in for a treat.
Musical lovers will be delighted with the most famous song by A.L. Webber from the musical The Phantom of the Opera.
And this year’s action movie audiences will not be left out either. They can look forward to songs from the James Bond series, for example.
The Western genre will again be represented by music by Ennio Morricone, this time from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. From Czech music, visitors will hear a part of the western parody Lemonade Joe or a suite from the TV series Wild Country.
