I AM A WOMAN

After two years, we are once again presenting the only exclusive performance of this production! The true transsexual story of Czechoslovak actress Lucie Brychtova. This unique theatrical production presents an authentic story with the theme of transsexuality. It brings on stage an original piece of personal drama served with humor, irony and sincerity by the main protagonist and author of the play herself – Lucie Brychtova, a graduate of Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno.

The play, which was written for the Red Cat Cabaret Club, was a huge success on the Czech stages a few months after its Slovak premiere. It sold out Brno’s Buranteatr twice and Prague’s Divadlo na Prádle several times. The Czech media highly appreciated the play and Lucie’s story was met with great acclaim.

After the performance, there is a talk show and an acoustic concert by Lucie Brychtová.
