CREATE A CHILD BOOK

CREATE A CHILD BOOK (in and for library). As part of the [fjúžn] festival held in Bratislava from 16th to 25th September 2021, the Old Town Library invites you to a workshop “Create a children book (in the library and for the library)”. During this workshop designed for families with children (3 – 15 years), we all together will create our and your own books. Do you struggle to speak or even to understand Slovak? It doesn’t matter. On the contrary, these handmade books should be multilingual.

How are we going to do that? First, the parents will make up a simple story in their native language. Then, with the artist Daniela Krajčová, the children will draw illustrations to these stories. Finally, all these books (each original) will enrich the Old Town Library’s collection.
