Rome is a city which breaths a magical atmosphere. But now you can make sure it’s really magical.
Between 1500 and 1600 the city was enriched with optical illusions. In the Baroque era, many artists improvised and played with forms, just think of the spectacular Borromini Perspective Gallery, the visual illusions of Bernini’s Scala Regia and Saint Peter Square. In walk you will meet the spectacular optical illusions of Andrea Pozzo, with the grandiose open-air perspective of Sant’Ignazio and its fake dome, the angels of Giovanni Battista Gaulli who seem to fall from Church of the Gesù, but also the anamorphic figures.
