Night on SUP

The most exciting SUP event of the year, “SUP Budapest: a night across the city”, will take place three times this year promising an unforgettable experience. The event will take you along the tranquil Danube, enjoying the sparkling, illuminated Budapest at night. The organisers are asking everyone to get creative with their lighting, and participants can also bring cameras to capture special moments.

This year, the event will take place three times: on 24 June, 15 July and 6 August.
We paddle from the Romani coast through Budapest to the Kopaszi dam.

24 June
Program:
21:15: Meeting at the SUP Budapest base at the Roman Beach, Kossuth Lajos Beach 81. Preparations, briefing, equipment distribution.
22:00: Water boarding, paddling. The tour is about 15 km long and takes about 3 hours at a comfortable pace.

The price of the tour with equipment rented from us: 15.000 ft.
Includes: SUP board, paddle, life jacket, tour guide, life rafts. (If you have your own life jacket, you can bring your own.)
For those coming with their own equipment: 10.000 ft.
(Life jacket and lights (headlamp or bike) are also mandatory for those coming with their own board.
What to bring: fluids, headlamp (mandatory) depending on weather, neoprene/sweatpants and a dose of cheer.

Some important information:
The event will be secured by rescue speedboats, so everyone will be safe.
Everyone must wear a (working) headlamp to participate. In the absence of lights, the police will refuse water boarding.
All participants must wear life jackets and armbands!
One person per SUP.
No jumping in the water and no swimming.
Everyone can participate at their own risk, swimming skill is compulsory.
Alcohol and other mind-altering substances are prohibited before and during the event!
