On April 17 and 18, 2021 the ancient Japanese custom of Hanami returns to the Botanical Garden of Rome, to admire the extraordinary cherry blossom in the Japanese Garden. This year’s edition is dedicated to the wonder and emotion aroused by the simple observation of nature caught in its peak of beauty, but which is destined to disappear in a short time. Along the path leading from the entrance of the Botanical Garden to the Japanese Garden, creations made by students of the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome will be exhibited in dialogue with compositions by Ikebana set up by the Ikebana Ohara ALU Study Group. Entrance will be possible only by reservation.
