If you´re a fan of fine arts and don´t know which events to virtually see to while at home due to the current situation, do not worry. We are here to help you. The Museum of Fine Arts in Vienna offers everyone a glimpse into their vast collection of arts dated from ancient Egypt to the late 18th century.
The museum was officially opened to the public in the late 19th century. The building’s internal structure combines two architectural traditions: entrance hall, staircase and cupola hall. “An additional feature is the circular opening in the ceiling of the entrance hall that offers visitors their first glimpse of the cupola hall.” This virtual tour provides a glimpse into the vast collection of beautiful and enchanting artwork and provides visitors with an experience that is very unique and like no other in the world. The tour includes also the famous café and restaurant which seems to be one of the reasons why so many tourists want to visit this place.
An additional tour for kids is available through the art education app that has been developed by the museum and can be downloaded to your phone. The museum also streams their original series on their YouTube channel where they talk about the 100 masterpieces which are displayed there and are significant for the museum.
We hope you´ll find at least one of those things interesting. 😀 Have fun and stay at home 😀
