The Gin Tonic Academy is preparing an exclusive rum and Spanish ham tasting and an exciting workshop. The culinary journey will shed light on the history of the smoky beverage and all the secrets you need to know about rum. On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, you’ll also learn how to make a love cocktail.

2. Día De San Valentín

In celebration of Mexican Valentine’s Day, Tereza Restaurant will also open its doors to couples on 14 February. Día De San Valentín will feature a special menu guaranteed to make you fall in love. Of course, the restaurant’s wide range of tacos and fiery margaritas will also be available to try.

3. Valentine’s Express

On 14 February, the Valentine’s Express will set off on a journey, courtesy of the Children’s Railway. Departing from the station in Hűvösvölgy, the special train will head to Szépjuhászné at 5 and 7 pm. The couples will be welcomed with champagne and sweets in the carriages, and on the way back they can also enjoy a delicious dinner while admiring the panoramic view of Budapest.

Indria Yoga Studio offers romantic couples yoga on 14 February. The focus of this special class will be on moving together and exploring each other’s boundaries. The program offers a great way to unwind and reconnect at the end of this special day.

5. Cocktail Workshop with Dessert Selection

Spend Valentine’s Day making cocktails and savouring desserts together at the lovely program of the Alice Hotel. After greeted with a special potion, couples can get to know the world of dazzling cocktails through a spectacular cocktail show, creating three unique drinks. 6. Valentine’s Day Cake Shop

Pastry chef Zsuzsi Ötvös is preparing amazing cake specialities especially for Valentine’s Day. The Babérliget Bookstore above Laurel Restaurant will be hosting the shop from 2pm. Six types of classic cakes will be made, adapted to today’s pastry trends, but with a twist here and there.

8. Kiskertpiac- Green Love Sunday

The first market of the new year is once again dedicated to love by the Kiskertpiac team. This time, the Madhouse terrace and indoor spaces will be the venue for the wide, Valentine’s Day selection of various exhibitors. The market will feature natural products and artworks, but you will be able to try the special gastronomic and drinks menu of Madhouse as well.

9. Makers’ Market

Celebrating its first birthday, the Makers’ Market kicks off the year with a Valentine’s Day event on 12 February. This time, the market will bring its varied selection to the Marczibányi Square Cultural Centre, where you will find unique handmade design objects by a number of local artists. The event will also feature workshops for adults and children, screenings and a concert.

The popular Valentine’s Day at Aquaworld is back this year, this time on 11 February.
