Budapest Bachata Festival

In 2026, Budapest hosts the third edition of the Budapest Bachata Festival, a three-day event dedicated entirely to bachata music and dance. The festival takes place in a single, all-in-one spa hotel, where workshops, daytime socials, evening parties, shows, and competitions flow into one continuous experience.

Rather than following a rigid concert-style schedule, the festival offers a flexible structure. Multiple workshops run in parallel in different rooms, daytime socials allow dancers to practice and connect, and the evenings turn into long, high-energy parties that last until the early morning hours. Participants are free to shape their own weekend—whether they come to learn, compete, dance socially, or simply enjoy the atmosphere.

Internationally renowned instructors lead workshops across different levels, complemented by special add-on programs such as a ladies styling bootcamp and an advanced masterclass. The festival also features Social Bachata Competitions for amateur and professional dancers, focusing on musicality, connection, and improvisation rather than choreography.

As night falls, the focus shifts to the parties. International DJs set the tone, while shows and animations keep the energy high throughout the night. Thanks to the hotel setting, dancers can also take advantage of wellness facilities and comfortable accommodation, making the weekend both intense and relaxed at the same time.
