In February 2026, EgZoo Mania starts as Hungary’s largest exotic animal exhibition and market, transforming the BOK Sports Hall into a one-day hub dedicated to rare animals, professional knowledge, and experience-based programs. The event brings together animal lovers, responsible pet keepers, families, and anyone curious to explore the diversity of the exotic animal world up close.
EgZoo Mania is a true “two-in-one” event. On one hand, it is a large-scale exhibition featuring hundreds of exotic animals; on the other, it functions as a market where visitors can find equipment, supplies, and—fully in line with regulations—animals, with guidance from experienced breeders and professionals.
Throughout the day, visitors can encounter a wide range of species, including snakes, monitor lizards, parrots, arthropods, and other rarely seen exotic animals. Exhibitors include Hungarian and international breeders, traders, and animal welfare organizations, all available to share expertise and answer questions related to animal care and responsible keeping.
The program extends far beyond a traditional exhibition.
Visitors can attend professional and educational talks by well-known and respected speakers, take photos in a dedicated photo corner with selected exotic animals, and test their courage at the EgZoona area, which showcases species rarely seen in Hungary. Immersive experiences also play a key role: a VR adventure leads participants into the Amazon rainforest, while a steampunk-inspired savannah journey offers a different perspective on wildlife.
An AI corner allows guests to create their own fantasy animals using artificial intelligence, while children can enjoy interactive programs and creative workshops in the Benedetto Children’s Corner. For those considering animal ownership, veterinarians, breeders, and specialists are present on site to provide reliable, responsible advice.
