BudaFest

BudaFest returns in 2026 with six full days of West Coast Swing, bringing dancers from all over the world to the heart of Budapest. From January 6 to 11, the elegant InterContinental Budapest becomes the home of social dancing, workshops, competitions and late-night parties, all wrapped in a friendly, high-energy international atmosphere.

The program includes 7 parties, a wide selection of workshops, and exciting competitions, all running with famously precise timing. One of the highlights is the return of the Social Marathon, where dancers can enjoy non-stop social dancing from Wednesday afternoon to Thursday afternoon, with extra parties, social-focused workshops and fun classes taking place in the main ballroom.

Those looking to deepen their skills can join the Focus Workshops, designed for more detailed learning on key West Coast Swing topics with top-level instructors. Whether participants come mainly to dance, learn or compete, the structure of the event allows everyone to build their own perfect festival experience.
