Jazz frequency & resonance

Be a part of the joint performance of Korean and Hungarian jazz artists on 18 November. If you’re interested in jazz and the different melodies of different cultures, this is the place to be, as Korean jazz pianist Chin Sooyoung will perform a free concert with acclaimed Hungarian artists, immersing the audience in both the Korean and Hungarian music worlds.

Chin Sooyoung is a talented South Korean jazz artist whose playing straddles the border between traditional jazz and contemporary soundscapes. His musical style is characterised by virtuoso improvisation and a deep emotion that permeates all his performances. Despite his young age, he has achieved great popularity and is particularly recognised for his creative use of instruments and his dynamic performance style. He often draws inspiration from a fusion of elements of Eastern and Western music, which gives his art a unique sound.

He will also be joined by Gábor Cseke (piano), László Csízi (drums), János Ávéd (saxophone) and József Barcza-Horváth (bass guitar)
