Summer Festival in the City Hall

The summer outdoor festival season is here again this year. There is no better example of this than the City Hall Summer Festival. This year again, you can choose from a wide range of performances by renowned artists, and the organisers are waiting for you with better and better programmes.

City Hall Summer Festival in Budapest – In 2024, we’ll be welcoming old and new to the heart of Buda with a variety of different genres and programmes. Surrounded by ancient trees and renewed inside and out, the now popular Buda playground will welcome new and returning spectators with more than 70 productions, special and spectacular concerts, premieres, musical and prose performances, children’s programmes, dance performances, the Theatre Review, national and international film screenings and a veritable carnival of genres between June and October. The highlight of this season will be the performance [Escape] The Donkihóte Project, a joint production with the Örkény István Theatre, based on a script by poet and playwright Péter Závada and director D. Dániel Kovács.
