Evening walk in the grove

The time has finally come for the weather to be pleasant in the evenings. Take advantage of this and join the evening walk in the City Park organised by the Millennium House. It sounds like a programme not to be missed, as the park walk includes both the interior and exterior of the buildings.

Join us on our guided walk and together we will admire the park and the built heritage dancing under the evening lights, while you will learn a lot of interesting facts about Europe’s largest cultural development!
– We’ll have a drink at the meeting point before setting off; – Walk through the magnificent Millennium House in the early evening lights, along its magical rose garden and Zsolnay fountain; – Explore the Hungarian House of Music, with a visit to its interior; – Visit the old-new gateway to the Liget, the Ethnographic Museum, which offers breathtaking views of a lit-up Budapest from its highest point.

Professional guides will accompany you throughout the walk and at each stop they will tell you all about the new iconic buildings and attractions of the Park. It’s worth coming back to our walk, as each time you’ll experience different lighting and an unforgettable atmosphere. WHAT’S TO KNOW? Starting point and arrival: in front of the Millennium House, main entrance Ticket purchase: online or in person at the Liget Budapest Visitor Centre (access from the Kunsthalle via the main entrance of the Museum of Ethnography) – during opening hours.

The ticket price includes 1 glass of a warming welcome drink (available in alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions).

The park walk partially covers the interior of the buildings. The part of the walk that includes the Museum of Ethnography is not accessible. Tickets for the guided walk are available on site at the Millennium House ticket office until 18:00, so it will not be possible to buy tickets on site at the start of the walk. We recommend purchasing tickets online in advance. No alcohol will be served to persons under 18 years of age, which will be checked on the spot.
