The renewed Chain Bridge will be celebrated on 16 September on Clark Ádám Square. The Chain Bridge Festival includes a full day of family and children’s activities and an exhibition. What’s more, in the evening, a series of great concerts will set the mood.

During the day, the Municipality of Budapest will be offering free children’s activities and a historical exhibition on the Chain Bridge from 10.00-18.00 and you can also visit the stand of the My Budapest app. Afterwards, we will be waiting for you with concerts from 19.30 until late in the evening on Clark Ádám Square.

Family activities on the Jane Haining quay from 10:00-18:00:
Inspiral Circus Centre – juggling programme
VISU Slowdesign: make a custom canvas bag with Budapest150 stamps or print on fabric (also for adults)
Jewellery making from recycled waste and brought treasures (for adults too)
Misi squirrel – basket carousel and games
Móser Ádám, accordion (14:00-18:00)
Pest Buda chess match and simultaneous game organised by the Budapest Chess Association
– PEST-BUDA 100-board chess match, the drawn opponents will play with both colours from 10.00 to 12.30
– Simultaneous with international chess master Zsolt Korpics on 30 boards for amateur chess players and chess players with less than 2000 Live Points from 1 pm to 3 pm
– Possibility of rapid chess, tandem chess, some informal chess from 12.30 to 17.30

You can also meet the mobile stand of the MyBudapest app. The city app for Budapest residents, where you can find out about current events, read news and get discounts at the capital’s partners.
In September, the third Community Budget of the capital will be voted on, with another HUF 1 billion to be decided by the people of Budapest. You can also cast your votes at the Community Budget stand at the Chain Bridge Festival, and colleagues from the Mayor’s Office are looking forward to welcoming you.
