In February, the spaces of the House of Music Hungary will once again be filled with voices as the Winter Night of Choirs returns. Over the course of a single evening, choirs arriving from all across the country take over the building, turning it into a living, breathing vocal landscape.
This is not a traditional seated concert, but rather a continuously flowing musical experience. Choirs perform one after another in different styles and sound worlds, while the audience is free to move through the spaces, constantly encountering new performances and musical moments.
The Night of Choirs has been an ongoing series since 2013, and its winter edition creates a distinctive atmosphere year after year: intimate yet expansive at the same time, with unaccompanied singing at its core. The architecture and acoustics of the House of Music Hungary provide an ideal setting for this diverse and immersive live music experience.
