Book Sale

On January 16–17, 2026, the Alexandra Kiadócsoport launches its series of discounted and slightly damaged book fairs in Budapest, welcoming book lovers to a two-day event.

During the course of publishing, countless books pass through our hands, and some copies inevitably acquire minor imperfections. However, appearance is not everything—the inner value matters most, especially when it comes to books. At the Budapest fair, visitors can browse a fresh selection, including many flawless titles available at discounted prices.

At the Rákóczi téri Vásárcsarnok, more than 15,000 books will be available, with prices starting from as low as 100 HUF. The selection includes children’s books, literary fiction, non-fiction, popular literature, and many other genres, ensuring that every age group can find something appealing.

The book fair opens on Friday at 11:00 a.m. and runs while supplies last, but no later than 7:00 p.m. On Saturday, visitors are welcome between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Bank card payment is available on site for a convenient shopping experience.

The Rákóczi Square Market Hall is easily accessible by public transport and by car: tram lines 4 and 6, as well as Metro line M4, stop nearby. For those arriving by car, parking is available in the underground garage of the market hall and in the surrounding streets.
