Horse Race on New Year’s Eve

On the last day of the year, a full-day program awaits visitors at Kincsem Park, combining horse and greyhound races with concerts, spectacular shows and family-friendly activities. The event offers a diverse New Year’s Eve experience for all ages, from early afternoon until late evening.

Entry to the venue is through the Galopp Gate, where ticket checks and on-site ticket purchases take place. After arrival, visitors can stop by the information desk in the Old Grandstand lobby to collect essential information, purchase the Turf Magazine and the 2026 Kincsem Club Card, or pick up the Kincsem Adventure Trail map, which turns the visit into a playful treasure hunt for children.

Between the two grandstands, an elegant tent hosts the 100-year Kincsem Park installation, offering a glimpse into the venue’s history. A photo booth, the Cake Tent featuring the centenary cake, and several stands selling Kincsem Park souvenirs and horse racing-related books are also available. Food and drinks are provided by the Gastro Courtyard and Kincsem Buffet stands, while the Kincsem Music Bar adds to the atmosphere.

Throughout the day, the racetrack hosts trotting and greyhound races alongside special presentations, including pony races, dressage performances, traditional horse shows and model parades. In the evening, live music by Rakonczai Imre and DJ Free sets the tone, followed by a fireworks display to close the year. Visitors may also encounter the Mirror Man’s visual performances at various points around the venue.

Betting on trotting and greyhound races is available for guests aged 18 and over only, with payment possible in cash or by card at designated locations.

Admission is free for children under 14 years of age. A valid student ID must be presented to claim student discounts.
