Ugly Christmas Sweater Run

For the seventh time, the ugly Christmas sweater run will take place on 10 December in Budapest! Wear your ugliest sweatshirt proudly and run for charity at this free event. Participants will be able to donate winter clothes for children, as well as non-perishable food items.

Get the ugly sweaters out of the closet! This year will be the seventh time we can run for charity in Budapest wearing our ugliest sweaters. The event is free but registration is required.

Starting from the southern entrance of the City Park (Museum Underground Garage and Promenade), the team will run two laps of the City Park Running Circuit (2 km, 4 km in total), passing the Millennium House and the Rose Garden, among others.
The following donations are expected from participants on 10 December and will be given to children in need at the Wesley János Kindergarten and Primary School after the event:
– Warm children’s winter clothes
and these products (making sure the expiry date is at least until next April):
– tinned meat and meals
– jam
– biscuits
– peanut butter and jelly
– oil
– dry pasta, pasta sauce
– sugar
– rice
– tinned fruit and vegetables
– baby food

➡ Meeting: Budapest, City Park, Museum Deep Garage and Promenade “D exit” between 10:30- 10:50, so we can register you and warm up together

➡ Distance: 2 laps of the City Park (4 km) – run or walk as you like
