Sam Lee, one of the renowned performers of the British music scene, will come to the House of Hungarian Music on October 12 to dazzle the Hungarian audience. In addition to being a talented folk performer, he is also active as a collector of folk songs, a nature conservationist and the founder and director of The Nest Collective folk club. Drawing from the English folk tradition and the songs of the wandering gypsies, he preserves and renews the aforementioned song traditions, while, like the House of Music, music pedagogy is also close to his heart. He made his debut in the music industry in 2012; his first album, Ground of its Own, was nominated for the 2012 Mercury Prize. This time, however, the singer-musician is coming to Budapest with his latest creation, the 2021 Old Wow+ material.
