The Children’s Railway is holding a family day on October 16 at the terminus in Hűvösvölgy. The organizers are preparing various programs for the all-day event; with, among other things, a bouncy castle, giant board games, creative house, obstacle course, environmental games and face painting. Furthermore, on both days of the weekend, you can see the model railway exhibition, where field tables with the theme of small railways and large railways will come to life.
Train enthusiasts can enjoy a roller coaster, a wooden railway and a train simulator, even the youngest can dress up as a children’s train for a photo, and of course trains run all day between Hűvösvölgy and Széchenyihegy. Those interested can board the BKV Ikarus 60 and Ikarus 415 nostalgia buses. The winners of the family quiz can expect railway-related gifts.
The programs are free of charge, the passenger trains can be used according to the usual tariff.
