Visiting the Kőbánya Cultural Center on Saturday, you can take part in many interesting cultural programs. This year, the Day of Cultural Heritage pays tribute to the 150 years of institutional protection of Hungarian monuments, thanks to which you can listen to various lectures and guided tours or even join the sightseeing tour.

– Visiting the Conti Chapel
The Conti chapel is one of the most beautiful and oldest monuments in Kőbánya. On this occasion, with the help of a tour guide, you can get to know the history of the chapel and discover its visible and hidden beauties. The groups depart every half hour between 10:00 and 14:00.
– The golden age of Kőbánya – visiting the permanent exhibition of local history
The exhibition traces the life of Kőbánya from the 1840s until the 20th century. until the middle of the century. Viewing the exhibition with interactive elements is also a great family program! The groups depart every half hour between 10:00 and 14:00.
– Viewing Budapest’s first prefectural building, today’s Kőbánya Mayor’s Office
During the tour of the building, visitors will also be able to enter many places that they would not normally be able to. The groups depart every half hour between 10:00 and 14:00.
– Guided tour from 11 a.m. with Mayor Antal Róbert D. Kovács in the Local History Collection
– Visiting the Kőbánya Cellar System – Walk underground
Guided tour of the Kőbánya cellar system, based on prior registration. Departure every half hour from the entrance at Bánya utca 37.
Requires registration. Please indicate when and how many people you would like to participate in the cellar visit when registering.
– Parish Church of Szent László in Kőbánya (tower climbing)
You can now discover the hidden beauties of the temple with the help of a guide. While climbing the tower, it is also worth listening to a short lecture on the history of the bells. The groups depart every half hour between 10:00 and 14:00.
– Bus sightseeing tour
We offer time travel to Kőbánya. Tales, anecdotes from bygone eras, moods from the last 150 years. Free tickets can be requested from the Kőrös Cultural Center from September 1. Departure at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. from the Kőrösi Cultural Center parking lot.
