Újpest Wine Weekend

This year, the popular Újpest Wine Weekend will take place between 8 and 10 September, and the three-day event will again offer delicious wines, good music and tasty snacks. The St. Stephen’s Square will host 32 excellent wineries, a street food court, jazz concerts and interesting children’s activities.

We’re playing it safe, so as usual we’ll be putting together a number of tasting lists in advance, and sommeliers will be on hand to help you find your way around so that no one gets lost in the bottle bustle. And our wine and food recommendations, paired with our street food selection, will further enhance the wine experience, enhanced by carefully selected Hungarian music and live jazz, so that everyone can indulge in the fun.
On Sunday, visitors can also try stum and there will also be a knight’s castle, a carousel, face painting, bouncers and children’s concerts to entertain the little harvesters.
At the end of the Wine Weekend, the public will be able to choose the wine of Újpest.
Participants in the daily draws will win more valuable prizes than ever before.
