If you’re looking for the first big outdoor beer festival of the summer in Budapest, the Serfőző Season Opening Beer Festival should definitely be on your list.
From June 4 to 7, Bikás Park will transform into a huge open-air beer garden filled with ice-cold craft beers, street food, picnic blankets, and relaxed summer vibes.
This year the festival moves to a brand-new and much bigger location in Budapest’s Bikás Park, one of the city’s best green spaces. Expect shady trees, sunny lawns, easy access by Metro Line 4, and plenty of space to spend the whole day hanging out with friends over a few beers.
One of the biggest highlights of the festival is the massive beer selection. Visitors can choose from nearly 150 different bottled and draft beers, including:
• IPA, APA, and EPA craft beers
• fruity and flavored specialties
• unfiltered wheat beers
• classic lagers
• unique Hungarian and international brews
The exhibitor list includes well-known breweries such as Monyó Brewing, Szent András Brewery, Fóti Brewery, Erdinger, Pilsner Urquell, Löwolf Craft Beer, Bernard, Lindemans, Visegrádi Craft Beers, and many more local and international names.
And of course, no beer festival is complete without great food. The park will be packed with street food stands, burgers, grilled dishes, lángos, waffles, chimney cakes, desserts, and classic beer snacks.

The atmosphere is more of a relaxed summer park festival than a crowded city event — people sitting on blankets in the grass, cold beers in hand, music, sunshine, and long summer evenings in one of Budapest’s nicest parks.
