Between the Gellért Hill and the Freedom Bridge, one of the most famous historical baths, the Gellért, is located. The bath, built in the art-nouveau style, is one of the more expensive places in the city, but it is still worth a visit. In 1918, it underwent an Art Nouveau transformation, then in 2008 it was completely renovated. The spa is part of the iconic Gellért Hotel and includes several indoor swimming, thermal and adventure pools, as well as an outdoor wave pool. What’s more, you do not only have the opportunity to bathe, as there are beauty and medical treatments, a sunbathing terrace, a massage salon, a steam bath and a sauna.
