From March 6–8, Budapest hosts a three-day gastronomic festival next to World Mall (1152 Budapest, Szentmihályi út 167–169.). Organized by GrillFeszt, World Mall and Grillkirály, the event celebrates traditional Hungarian cuisine in a lively festival setting.
At the heart of the Mangalica & Aspic Festival are hearty Hungarian specialties, including mangalica pork dishes, aspic (kocsonya), and a wide variety of pork knuckle preparations.
Highlight dish: Pork knuckle in every style
The festival’s featured specialty is pork knuckle, prepared in multiple ways:
– crispy roasted
– boiled
– smoked
– baked in traditional “péknél” style
– and other creative knuckle variations
It’s a true paradise for fans of robust Hungarian flavors.
