The next Makers’ Market fair will be held on 18 and 19 November at the Town Hall. Many local makers will be bringing their unique objects to the event and visitors will have the chance to meet them in person.
The Makers’ Market Budapest has grown over the years into a real cultural program, where the public, open to contemporary handicrafts, can meet unique designer products and their makers every month. The value of handmade products is undeniable in itself, but the personal contact with the designers and the story behind the creation of these unique objects gives them an even deeper meaning.
Makers’ Market Budapest participants are selected from the cutting edge of contemporary design. Participation is by invitation only, with the unanimous support of the curatorial team. The emphasis is on quality rather than quantity, and the event is designed to ensure that contemporary domestic design is represented in the broadest possible range and at the highest possible quality.
